With The Trees specializes in furniture, built-ins, and interior remodeling – especially those projects that require outside-of-the-box approaches. “Design-build” is an approach to building that integrates design into the same process, involving the client along the way. Whether a bathroom remodel or a walnut desk, we start by getting to know you: What do you care about? How do you live? What do you need from the project? How is it supposed to make you feel? From there, we’ll begin a collaborative design process that will inform the rest of our work together. Clients are updated throughout the process, including follow-up after project completion. 

Situated in Milwaukee, our shop can support any range of project, including the integration of other tradespeople and makers to incorporate ceramics, glass, masonry, metal work, and other mediums. We are proud to collaborate with local artists and makers wherever possible.
